Spicy lemon grass chicken

Spicy lemon grass chicken (gà xào xả ớt)


Ingredients:

- boneless chicken thigh: 4 pieces, cut in small pieces about 1/2 inches.
- lemon grass: 1 stalks, finely chopped
- dry sherry: 2 tsps (= 10 ml)
- fish sauce: 2 tsps
- seasoning soy sauce: 2 tsps
- vegetable oil: 4 tsps
- oriental special five spices (ngũ vị hương) : 1/4 tsps
- oriental special mixed chili (gia vị nấu bún bò Huế): 1/2 tsps
- ground dried chili pepper: 1/2 tsps
- 1 yellow onion: coarsely sliced
- 3 cloves of garlic: finely chopped


Cooking:
1. Marinate chicken thigh with fish sauce, dry sherry, seasoning soy sauce, special mixed chili.
2. Heat vegetable oil in a medium pan until boiling.
3. Put the finely chopped garlic in.
4. When the garlic turns golden, immediately throw onion, lemon grass and ground dried chilli pepper in, quickly stir for 15 seconds.
5. Put the marinated chicken in and stir well until done.
6. Serve with steamed rice. Don't forget to prepare a glass of iced water in case your spicy lemon grass chicken is too spicy :p...
